Cry Of Victory!

" When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit."

Luke 23:46

"Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!' And having said this he breathed his last." John 19:30

The plan Of God, that we read about in Hebrews Chp. 10:1-18, has come to be. The ultimate sacrifice that will save man from their sin, the wrath of God has been poured over Jesus. Jesus is “[doing] away with the first and establishing the second.” (Hebrews 10:9) No more sacrifices of bulls and goats (that can never take away sin) will be needed.

The barrier between God and men is finally broken.” the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. (Mark 15:37-38) God can now say, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” (Hebrews 10:17)

Christ took our place on that cross. Christ paid it all, Isaiah 53:5 says, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him...". It’s a humbling truth, that “He who knew no sin was made sin so we can become the righteous of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21) God, His Father, treated Jesus like a sinner so that Jesus can pay our debt before God; cleaning us from our sin and clothing us with His Righteousness.

We’ve been meditating on Christ’s sacrifice all week (the best is yet to come on Sunday). Will this beautiful Gospel leave our minds as soon as we hit Monday? My friend, God is offering you the BEST GIFT YOU WILL EVER RECEIVE: JESUS! See all of this! Enjoy the Beauty and Glory of This Gospel! Don’t hardened your heart to the voice of God!

What greater Gift can we receive? Don’t throw it all away for foolish worldly living. Don’t let nothing nor anyone distract you from your GREATEST TREASURE: JESUS CHRIST. Our glory is this sacrifice! This is our justification! This is our salvation being made a reality!

Oh reader! If you haven’t accepted Christ as your Savior, please don’t walk away from this truth! The Lord has given everything for you- literally everything. He did not even spare His own Son but gave Him up for you. (Romans 8:32) Please accept the gift Christ is offering you today, before its to late. Don’t turn your back on the Savior who hung on that Cross for you.
