I am a mother, chosen by God.
He has given me a Divine calling:
to disciple and care for His little ones.
Behind every diaper change,
behind every cry and frustration,
I can hear God’s voice confirming
me that I am living out His Will.
No, I’m not preaching behind a pulpit,
or the next greatest evangelist,
but my calling is just as precious
in the eyes of the Lord.
Every day He uses me to disciple
these beautiful God given gifts.
I get to be with them every time
they fall and tell them its ok;
that God is leading them every step of the way.
Threw my life they see God’s
reality, love, grace and mercy.
My life has been created to bring Glory to the All Mighty One
and my family is the first one to see God’s glory
shining through imperfect me.
I might not always be appreciated by them
Or praised by others
But my Lord’s eyes are on me
And that’s what truly matters
He chose me specifically.
Why? I do not know.
Anyone else could have probably done a better job.
But God has called me to prepare the next generation.
It’s not always easy but its ok
I wouldn’t want it any other way.
The beautiful times are so much greater than the bad
But what’s more precious is seeing God’s plan become reality.
POEM Dedication: To my wonderful mother who has loved me unconditionally and to all the other wonderful mothers in my life. You know who you are ;D.
